Our nation’s leaders are missing all the warning signs that are right before their eyes.
IT’S WORTH CONSIDERING
If our nation is to have any hope of winning the battle being waged against us by
Islamists, we have got to start connecting the dots so our decision-makers can see the big picture and understand what’s really going on. The sad truth is that nearly all of our national government leaders can’t even recognize the dots, let alone connect them. The recent bombing during the Boston Marathon is a case in point. Dzhokhar Anzorovich “Jahar” Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Anzorovich Tsarnaev were the Chechen brothers responsible for the April 15, 2013 massacre. The older brother, Tamerlan, was killed, but his brother survived.
A little research into the mosque the brothers attended (The Islamic Society of Boston in Cambridge) sheds a lot of light on the event. Within a week of the bombing, newspaper reporters discovered that Tamerlan had been thrown out of the mosque after a series of disruptive outbursts at a prayer service. The investigation led to many revelations that explained a lot regarding what Tamerlan learned at that mosque. It supports everything I wrote about in a previous article regarding the true nature of mosques.
AS I SEE IT
If our government would conduct even half the investigations newspaper reporters typically do, our nation would be much safer. We were able to identify and shut down two Islamist terrorist charities, but failed to see the depth of the connections the Cambridge mosque had to both. While being questioned publically, the director of the FBI reluctantly admitted that he had no idea that the Mosque had been founded by an al-Qaeda operative.
The illustrious founder, Abdulrahman Alamoudi, is currently serving a 23-year sentence in federal prison after having pleaded guilty in 2004 to participating in a Libyan plot to assassinate Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah. According to information available to the U.S.Government, but largely ignored, the September 2003 arrest of Alamoudi was a severe blow to Al Qaeda since Alamoudi had a close relationship with Al Qaeda and had raised money for Al Qaeda in the United States.
To me, this seems like good information to have, but our government doesn’t seem to be interested in checking such things out. Were it not for investigative journalists and bloggers, we’d be completely in the dark. When one branch of our government does stumble upon the truth (probably by accident), it is seldom shared with other branches.
Then there’s the dot that few inside or outside the government recognize. That dot is the place the past plays in the mind and heart of Muslims. We an America focus on the present and the future. We’re always thinking about what we’re going to be doing tomorrow, what we can accomplish, and what might be. Muslims seldom think about the future. To them the past is as important as the present. The two are powerfully connected. They are taught to remember the days of Islamic world domination. They know all the wars and all the great conquerors. Things that happened hundreds or even thousand of years ago are still relevant today. They drive everything they believe and do.
One of the great conquerors in Islam was Timur. During his reign of conquests, he succeeded in killing 5% of the world’s population. He was so vicious that he built pyramids made from the heads of his victims. I could go on, but here’s the connection. He was also known by the westernized form of his name-Tamerlan. The Boston bomber’s parents gave him that name in honor of a great hero who butchered millions in the name of Allah. For his mother to claim that he could never have been guilty of such a thing is absurd. It was his destiny. If only we had connected the dots earlier four people would still be alive and 282 would still have their bodies intact.
