SETTING OUR MINDS ON THINGS ABOVE
George Soros has been rather brazen lately about his plans to change the world to his liking. His arrogance is likely the result of
how successful his plans have been thus far, further feeding his god-complex. He has boldly proclaimed that he knows that Donald Trump will win the popular vote in November, but Hillary will still win the election. Sure sounds like he knows something we don’t. Not that we don’t suspect, or more accurately, expect, foul play. We just don’t know the details. Obama’s plan to put the DHS in charge of the election process has certainly raised a red flag. So has had push to register illegals.
For the moment, imagine what will happen if Hillary wins. What if Trump wins? Many “analysts” have predicted riots and civil disturbances in either case, both resulting in such concern that the public will cry out for martial law to restore the peace. This will play right into Obama’s hand. America will instantly be transformed into a permanent police state, and his permanent power grab will begin.
Time will tell what will actually happen, but I expect that this will be an election like no other in the U.S. of A. Too many power brokers have too much riding on the results to leave them to “chance.” Watch all the leftist maneuvering and political gymnastics in the upcoming weeks as they claim to be ensuring that the disenfranchised are given a fair opportunity to vote.
As I have been wavering over whether I will be able to bring myself to vote for the likes of Donald Trump, I keep seeing more and more reasons to do so. Peter Sutherland, Chairman of Goldman Sachs, is right up there with George Soros as a funder of far leftist movements and organizations. When I read that he had banned donations to the Trump campaign, I felt more comfortable voting for Trump. Perhaps he will be the Churchill or the Patton America needs right now.
Whatever the outcome, our God is still sovereign over nations and their rulers. Those who are determined to destroy our nation to bring about their One World Government have become their own god and are fearlessly mocking the One True God who holds their fate in His hands. I’d like to close with a reminder from Psalm 2 which puts things in perspective for us:
Why are the nations in an uproar
And the peoples devising a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand
And the rulers take counsel together
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
“Let us tear their fetters apart
And cast away their cords from us!”
He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying,
“But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
“I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD:
He said to Me, ‘You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You.
‘Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance,
And the very ends of the earth as Your possession.
‘You shall break them with a rod of iron,
You shall shatter them like earthenware.’ ”
Now therefore, O kings, show discernment;
Take warning, O judges of the earth.
Worship the LORD with reverence
And rejoice with trembling.
Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled.
How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
