The European Union has taken a stand…against Israel and God.
On Saturday, I posted an article about the European Union’s decision to cut off all interactions with Israeli business or organizations located outside the original 1949 lines. This is so significant that I am writing this Special Edition to fill in some more blanks. According to the decision, contracts and agreements between EU businesses, institutions and individuals from those newly outlawed areas will no longer be legally recognized by EU courts as of January 1, 2014. This would result in the boycotting of institutions like the Hebrew University which is just over that line and Jewish residents in Jerusalem’s Old City-where ancient Jewish settlements existed long before the arrival of a single Arab.
Keep in mind that the areas in question are those that Israel gained in the defensive 1967 Six Day War. By all standards of war, the areas are theirs to keep disregarding the fact that they were all “deeded to the Jews by God.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s response was, “This matter will only be determined through direct negotiation between the two sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As prime minister, I won’t allow hundreds of thousands of Israelis living in Judea and Samaria, the Golan Heights, and in Jerusalem-our united capital-to be harmed. I expect those who really want peace and regional stability to deal with this matter of Israel’s settlements after they solve more pressing problems in the region like the Syrian civil war and Iran’s race to get a nuclear weapon.”
According to Israel National News, Israeli experts say the implications will have a major impact. Israeli MK Tzachi Hanegbi told Israel Radio that the new EU policy is far more radical than what the U.S., or even Europe itself, was accustomed to in the past. In my Saturday post I also included a short article on Tisha B’Av. Ironically (or not) news of the EU’s economic attack on Israel broke during the fast of Tisha b’Av. Now the EU can add its name to the list of those who have officially declared themselves and enemy of Israel.
The stage is being set for the battles of the End Times. The players are defining themselves as either enemies or friends of Israel. If we needed definitive evidence that the Last Days are upon us, we have just received it. Just how this plays into the preparation for the Antichrist is not yet clear, but it’s all connected. We need to pay close attention to the fallout from this decision. If any nation or group of nations wants to incur the wrath of God, all they need do is to follow the lead of the EU.
