Despite the propaganda, Islam’s Goal hasn’t changed.
IT’S WORTH CONSIDERING
If Muslims were asked to describe what a perfect world would look like, those who
were “good Muslims” would say it was a world where no non-Muslims existed. This is because those Muslims who are serious about their religion are serious about the history of Islam. This is especially evident in Turkey, where all school children learn about one of their greatest heroes, Sultan Mehmet, who captured Constantinople in the 15th Century. He’s the George Washington of Turkey. The fact that he lived 600 years ago does nothing to diminish his importance. They know what he did and that he burned with a desire to see the Turkish Empire spread throughout the earth.
The result-young adults in Turkey today want their empire back. They are hungry for a return of the glory days of the Ottoman Empire that dominated the world for 700 years. They want a return of the Caliphate that was ended after World War I. One of the favorite forms of entertainment in Turkish coffeehouses today is watching videos and documentaries on the sacking of Constantinople and its capture from the Christians. Turkey is turning more and more toward militant Islam, and many Turks believe that Armageddon will begin in Turkey.
Unfortunately, Turkey is not an isolated example. The Muslim Brotherhood is active in over 100 nations building an organization that is poised to act when the time is right. Its goals are not radical at all. They come directly from the Qur’an and other Muslim writings. One in every 55 verses in the Qur’an is a war verse. And all the talk about Islam being willing to co-exist with the world’s other religions-nonsense. Sura 9:33 clearly states that Islam is the only “religion of truth” and must be shown to be superior to all other religions.
AS I SEE IT
We are seeing this acted out all around the world. To Muslims, the end justifies the
means. This is why we see Muslims flying planes into buildings and all non-Muslims being shot in malls. It’s all part of the muscle-flexing in preparation for the final worldwide jihad. Clearly, America is asleep at the wheel. I stated in a previous article that our nation’s leaders in Washington are clueless. What about our pastors? A recent regional conference I attended was aimed at informing pastors of the facts so they could take appropriate action. While the event was well attended, few of the attendees were pastors. Those who were there were asked why they thought so many pastors don’t want to deal with this issue. The top two answers were:
1. They are too busy with normal church activities to deal with something like this.
2. They want to avoid being labeled as an “Islamophobic church” as a result of their speaking out against Islam.
Such is the state of the late great nation America. According to the Bible, Islam isn’t going to just disappear. Most of the nations Christ will destroy when He returns are currently Islamic nations. Revelations speaks of beheadings during the Tribulations. The only religion that practices this is Islam. It appears that Islam will be a major player in the Last Days. It is no match, however, for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Christ will quickly and surely extinguish Islam. Listen to what the prophet Jeremiah said about Elam (modern day Iran):
Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Behold, I am going to break the bow of Elam, the finest of their might. I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four ends of heaven, and will scatter them to all these winds; and there will be no nation to which the outcasts of Elam will not go. So I will shatter Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their lives; and I will bring calamity upon them, even My fierce anger,” declares the Lord, “And I will send out the sword after them Until I have consumed them. Then I will set My throne in Elam and destroy out of it king and princes,” declares the Lord. “But it will come about in the last days that I will restore the fortunes of Elam,” declares the Lord.'”(Jeremiah 49:35-39)
We know how things end and we must never forget that God is still sovereign and nothing will happen that wasn’t already written in the Book of Truth. What we don’t know is what exactly happens between now and the Tribulation. What will happen to America? Perhaps God has had it with our immorality, sensuality and idolatry. Perhaps Islam is His chosen vehicle to bring judgment. Will He relent? Who knows? Are we still accountable for our actions? Absolutely. What we can know for certain is that it’s time for the Church to start acting like the Church, throwing itself at the merciful feet of our gracious Father and being about His business, His way, in His time.
ON THE LIGHTER SIDE
“The time to stop talking is when the other person nods his head affirmatively but says nothing.”
