There’s a reason why those on the right are so powerless.
IT’S WORTH CONSIDERING
Many people are wondering if there is anything that can be done about the ever-widening political divide
in Washington. The current system with the same old people keeps giving Obama whatever he wants despite Republican majorities in the Senate and House. Even the newly-elected Tea Party Republicans are having little to no effect. It’s no wonder the three Republican “outsiders” are doing so well. Recent polls indicate that 42% of Republicans feel betrayed by their party.
David Horowitz of the Freedom Center is a former radical leftist who knows how the left thinks and what their tactics of choice are. This article represents some of his views on why the left has been so successful in pushing through its radical agenda. I have added some comments of my own to show how recent events are part of a clear and methodical strategy to bring America to her knees. In Horowitz’ view, if you consolidated all the far left’s beliefs into a single individual, it would look exactly like Barack Obama. If we can understand what he has been nurtured on all his life-what makes him tick, then every scandal, his unwillingness to compromise, his demonization of his political opponents, and his determination to weave lie after lie into a make-believe narrative that he spoon feeds to the press and the American people makes sense.
Regardless of what the radical left claims, their goal is simple-to seize power-complete and absolute power. They are in an all-out quest to turn every red state blue, and every item on their agenda from health care to protecting the environment (thru climate change) is simply another way to seize and keep power.
They see the world as consisting of “haves” and “have-nots” and they are determined to redistribute the
wealth to make everyone equal (equally powerless, with all the power going to them). Stifling the independence of every American is crucial and they are willing to commit hideous atrocities with a clear conscience because they are “intoxicated by their own virtue.” Their noble intentions far outweigh the rights of the people. Here are some of the means through which this “stifling” is taking place:
* Disarming Americans
* Rendering us powerless thru economic ruin
* Rig the voting system to render it irrelevant
* Flood the nation with Democrat-voting illegals & refugees
* Surrender rights to the UN
* Weaken the military and/or use it against the people
* Promote anything that will weaken the family and traditional values (gay rights, same-sex marriage & whatever is next).
Saul Alinsky
Saul Alinsky is considered the guru of “community organizers.” In 1971 his “Rules for Radicals” became the Bible for the far left (rules for advancing their radical agenda). Referring to Barack Obama, David Horowitz writes:
Of no other occupant of the White House can it be said that he owed his understanding of the political process to a man and a philosophy so outside the American mainstream, or so explicitly dedicated to opposing it.
To get a feel for the book, just consider that Alinsky dedicated it to Satan, his hero, his ultimate example of how a true radical should behave and think. This should explain why everything they do is based on deception. When they claim to be fighting against hate speech, they really mean anyone or anything that is critical of them. The Occupy Wall Street and Black Lives Matter movements are right out of this mold.
Without understanding how the far left thinks, conservatives will become easy prey. Our problem is that we play by the rules and actually have a conscience that guides us. Neither is true of leftists. Conservatives can’t believe that anyone could actually sink as low as things appear. Consequently, we keep giving them the benefit of the doubt.
In reality, things are even worse than they appear. Liberals are morally bankrupt and their policies will
never bring the results the American people need and want. Yet, they succeeded in electing Barack Obama twice, gaining majorities (until lately), and passing radical leftist legislation. According to Horowitz, they were successful because they knew how to:
* Focus their message and repeat it endlessly, such as “Tax cuts for the rich,” Bush lied, millions died,” “War on women,” and the like.
* Go on the offensive instead of waiting to react.
* Define their cause as defending the underdog and their opponents as oppressors.
In Alinsky’s mind, you must not paint yourself into a corner by clearly defining your goals and agenda. You must be “political relativists.” In his mind, the revolutionary’s purpose was to undermine the system and see what happens. (This seems to have also directed Obama’s foreign policy). The goal was to transfer power from the “haves” to the “have-nots,” but the methods had to remain flexible, constantly changing as the establishment reacts. Just watch how Barack Obama and Hillary react to their numerous scandals and you’ll see this principle in living color.
Still, the radicals cling to the only goal that gives meaning to their lives, ignoring the fact that the same goal that inspires the radicals’ war has been the source of the most repressive regimes and inhumane atrocities the world has ever seen.
Dostoevsky famously wrote that “if God does not exist then everything is permitted.” The meaning: if 
humans do not have a conception of the good that is outside themselves, then they will act as gods with nothing to restrain them. Both Alinsky (who died in 1972) and Obama are already there. Radicals justify the evil they engage in by believing that they’re working for the betterment of mankind. Once again, it has never worked before, but that will not stop them from trying it again and again.
Alinsky decided to use an entirely different approach than the counter-cultural radicals of the 60s like Tom Hayden and Abbie Hoffman. Instead of confrontation, disruption, demonstrations and riots, Alinsky chose a more subtle approach-infiltrating the institutions of American society and government and thereby directing federal funds to their own organizations and causes (Planned Parenthood). He also saw organized labor as a huge potential ally. He personally trained the most important radical labor organizer of his time-Cesar Chaves.
He also shaped the future of the civil rights movement after the death of Martin Luther King. If you’ve ever wondered how the whole civil rights movement took such a dramatic turn, promoting the “victim mentality” so prevalent in the black community, now you know what happened. Perhaps the first public display of Alinsky’s approach was when racial unrest erupted in Rochester, New York after King’s death. Alinsky was called in by activists to pressure Eastman-Kodak to hire more blacks. The racial extortion that won the day became the standard of the entire civil rights movement under the leadership of the “victim mentality” kings, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

laid for gaining a stronghold on the entire Democratic Party. In 1969 Hillary Rodham submitted her senior thesis paper on the theories of Saul Alinsky, comparing him to the likes of Eugene Debs, one of America’s best known socialists and union leaders. She saw Alinsky’s most important contribution to the radical cause as his embracing of political nihilism (rejecting the most fundamental social and political structures, such as government, family or even law and law enforcement) As an SDS radical once wrote, “The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.”
What all this means is that the apparent cause- oppression of blacks, women’s rights, voter suppression or whatever- is never the real cause. It is merely a smoke screen to advance the real cause which is the accumulation of power to make the revolution.
Alinsky disciples are bound by no rules, no planned strategy, and no worthy principles. They remain flexible and opportunistic and will say anything, do anything, and pretend to be anything if it advances their quest for influence, money, and power. According to Alinsky, “From the moment an organizer enters a community, he lives, dreams, eats, sleeps only one thing, and that is to build the mass power base of what he calls the army.” The issue is never the issue. It is always the revolution.
They see “democracy” as getting those who are in, out, and using the poor and “oppressed” as a battering ram to bring down the system.
Lately, the term “low information voter” has been used to describe the mass of loyal supporters, (mostly black) that will follow Obama anywhere. It is simply the result of years of preparation by “community organizers.” Prior to becoming a full-time legislator in 1996, Barack Obama was immersed in the largest radical organization in the nation, Acorn, which was built precisely on the Alinsky model. In 1995 he became Acorn’s attorney, guiding them through all the loopholes and “smoke and mirrors techniques” that would prevent the opposition from ever discovering what they were really up to.
So, what are they really up to? They have no interest in reforming the system, only destroying it by using
whatever means are necessary (his radical transformation).They have been successful largely because conservatives refuse to believe that a fellow American could possibly desire America’s destruction and willing to do or say anything to bring it about. When radicals talk about justice, equality, and democracy, conservatives take the bait, giving the radicals the benefit of the doubt to their own destruction.
AS I SEE IT
According to Lenin, the purpose of a political argument is not to refute your opponent. It is to wipe him off the face of the earth. For Alinsky’s followers, including his greatest disciple, Barack Obama, the purpose has not changed. They’re on a mission of destruction, a little here, a little there, until eventually, the whole house collapses. You must be willing to use any weapon, any tactic, and be ready to align with any group at any time if is advances the cause – destruction of the present system.
Obama is especially dangerous because of the groups he has aligned himself with:
* Muslim Brotherhood
* Iran
* Radical Left (Black Panthers Party, Black Lives Matter)
* Organized labor
* Enemies of Israel
To pull this off, you must carefully camouflage your radical goals. You must make people believe that you
are working within the system and trying to improve it. If you’ve got the ability to lie with a straight face and give inspiring speeches, you’ve greatly increased your chances of success. Where people understand that socialism destroys freedom, you must dress it up as something else-something they don’t really understand, but sounds noble. You must sell it as “progressivism,” “economic democracy,” or “social justice.”
According to Alinsky, “Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people.” You must first sell the people on change itself, “the audacity of hope,” and “yes we can.”
This should sound painfully familiar. We’ve watched as Barack Obama has started with moderate changes. It didn’t take him long to start imposing a much more radical agenda. As we see his words consistently not matching his actions, it appears that hypocrisy is an unstated, but essential component of the Alinsky model. You must never practice what you preach (If you like your present healthcare…) but you must never relent in painting your opponents as the cause of all the country’s ills.
In the minds of the radicals, they are always at war and they will do whatever it takes to keep their opponents from entering the war. Make them think you desire the same things they do. Make them think the political arguing is really about the best methods to accomplish their shared goals.
This is why so many Republicans are so fed up with their elected representatives who appear to be either clueless or complicit. Until the right understands that it is engaged in an all-out war, it will continue to give away, little by little, the very things that have made our nation the greatest on earth.
